Faithfest 2010

This past weekend, Ground to Cup enjoyed a Saturday out at the "Faithville Village" enjoying "Faithfest 2010".
The day was full of music, food and fun.  Glenn Green brought in Christmas with his live music ... everyone's favorite Christmas Carols and more.  BBQ plates were sold and the proceeds from the lunches went to benefit "The Hope Center", a local food bank in North San Antonio.  Many vendors lined the walks with all sorts of goodies for your Christmas shopping list.  Santa and Rudolph joined in the fun with pictures and dancing.  Kids enjoyed decorating their own cookies, played in the moon bouncy, rode in the train, and created their own necklaces that benefitted "Hope Africa", an orphanage in Iganga, Uganda.

Ground to Cup enjoyed a day of serving fresh roasted coffee and meeting the friends and families in our community!  We were blessed!

Meet the Holder Family ... a partner!

Hey all you coffee fans looking to support a cause!  Go check out one of our newest partners, The Holder Family .  Scott and Courtney are in the process of adopting two beautiful children from Ethiopia.  40% of the purchase of your coffee from their online store will go directly to them to help with the incurring costs of an international adoption; processing fees, two trips to Ethiopia, fingerprints, home studies, post placements and more.  We hope you will think of them the next time you add "coffee" to your grocery list.  There's no better way of drinking your morning cup of Joe than helping bring home two children into their forever family while doing so!
